Introduction	I have been working on a video project inspired by the history of a camp near to my studio in France. It was a regional depot for Jews, who were then transported to Drancy and onto Auschwitz. The appalling history of this camp is not well-known (even locally). My videos attempt to sum of the "essence" of this land and its traumatic history. This blog was first started on the Artist's Newsletter website to chart the development of my work. All my creative output during the previous three years has been based on Rivesaltes.
