| Introduction | As New Yorkers, we at the Frontline Coalition have seen the corruptive power of the American Left first hand. We have watched as labor unions have usurped control of the state legislature, wielding millions in coerced dues to play politics with our jobs, our school systems and our livelihoods. We have seen the brutal hammer of taxation and regulation used to bully private citizens and businesses to yield to the agenda of big government. We have seen the trampling of our 2nd Amendment rights, a monumental growth in government servants and a rising lower class of dependents. And we have stood silently by as utopians have overridden democratic processes and forced their beliefs on the majority. New York and all of America have reached a crossroads. We can return to the conservative principles of our founding fathers, which transformed the United States into the greatest and most powerful country the world has ever known. Or, we can succumb to the unions, the trial lawyers, the environmentalists, the statists, and the utopians and guarantee an America devoid of the prosperity, freedom and power that it is today. The choice is ours. |
