Introduction	First, thanks for taking the time to be interested in my family and me. My name is Joyce. I have a terrific 22-year-old son, Jeff. I have been married for 3 years to a wonderful man, Jonathan. I have been teaching for 7 years. For the last 5 years, I have taught second grade and love it. I have eight cats and five dogs. Yes, our house is a zoo. In my spare time, I like to research new classroom strategies, do projects in the yard/house, and to walk/exercise daily. However, not necessarily in that order. (hee hee) We are going to become new grandparents in September. We have already found out it is a girl and we are very excited. In the fall, I will be starting a new graduate certificate course for Dyslexia. This subject has always fascinated me and I am constantly trying to find ways to reach these struggling readers. My husband, Jonathan, will be starting a new chapter in the fall as well. He will begin an Information Science master’s degree program. We will be a very busy family come this fall. I am sure I can add more, but I will stop for now.
