| Introduction | My life is a patchwork of everyday adventures, more exciting than some, more mundane than others! Through the years this "crazy quilt" life has gathered a myriad of colors, shapes, patterns and stitches. Adopted at birth, I am blessed to be woven from two wonderful families. Twenty-five years ago, I married my high school sweetheart and together we have raised three incredible and diverse daughters. Recently, instead of the long anticipated "empty nest", we have added a fourth baby daughter to our family through the gift of adoption! Altogether it has been, and is, a life of love, tears, grace, laughter, pain, joy, and triumph all carefully planned and stitched together by the loving hand of the Master Quilter. And out of the scraps of life, I know He has made and is making something beautiful! |

| Favorite movies | I have a weakness for Super Hero Movies! I personally believe in "Truth, Justice and the American Way" and that "With great power, comes great responsibility"!! Fantastic Four, Batman, Thor, X-Men, The Incredibles...I admit it, I cried in Captain America! I secretly hope that some day I fall into a vat of toxic waste and develop super powers (I would love to be invisible, with force fields!) I think Cary Grant is the greatest actor of all time! From "Bringing Up Baby" with Katherine Hepburn to "North by Northwest", I LOVE him! In black and white I also enjoy Danny Kaye movies, The Marx Brothers and the TV shows "I Love Lucy" and "The Beverly Hillbillies"! Of the more modern day movies, I enjoy animation, musicals, action/adventure, suspense, and "chick flicks". Regardless of genre, I do not like off-color or vulgar humor, either visual or verbal, or the substitution of sex for romance. A few favorites on my shelf (beside the Super Heroes!)--"Second Hand Lions", LOTR, Penelope, Narnia movies, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Muppets movies, The Patriot, Meet the Robinsons, Indiana Jones, Pride and Prejudice, and One Night with the King. |
| Favorite music | Gaithers! Both the Homecoming Friends and GVB. Steve Green. Philips, Craig and Dean, Casting Crowns and David Meece. I enjoy Southern Gospel and Older Contemporary Christian. I love good clean Country Music, so I try to be very careful to limit which songs I listen to (no cheatin', drinkin', cussin', or leavin'!) |
