| Introduction | I was curious about the cosmos, and the nature of things since my childhood. So, i decided to pursue a degree in Physics. I enrolled University of Athens in 2010 for a Bachelor Degree and in 2014 I graduated. During my studies in UoA, my love was always between Astrophysics and Nuclear Physics, till i discovered the relatively recent branch of Physics, called Nuclear Astrophysics. Its main purpose is the study of the origin of chemical elements in the cosmos. This fascinating subject impressed me for good, and i decided to write a B.Sc Thesis on astrophysically interesting reactions. |
