| Introduction | SHELLEYOUNG-AT-ART is the home of Shelley Redford Young's Art blog, created in an effort to encourage the "healing factor" art can bring. Art will be posted which will be open for bid or direct purchase. Shelley is also available for commission work such as portraits or specialty requests, such as personal caricatures (both digital or hand painted), still lifes, or landscape paintings. Shelley has a Foundational 3-year degree from the Watts Atelier located in Encinitas California with an emphasis in traditional portrait and figure drawing and painting and has also studied recently at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. She works as an art instructor at the Petersen Art Center in SLC, Utah where she teaches drawing, oil painting and mixed media classes.
