| Introduction | --Because we believe that animals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity --Because the meat and dairy industry is unsafely regulated, demeaning, and hazardous to humans and animals alike --Because animal raising is a leading cause to many environmental problems, such as global warming, deforestation, contamination, increased use of hormones/anti-biotics, and spread of disease, not to mention that it's also the stem cause of all cancer OK, but Why Vagrants? --Because we are all wanderers in life, whether we choose to believe it or not. And in this particular culinary journey, we believe that wandering will ultimately lead us to: - more variety (by challenging ourselves to work with what we've got) - boldness (by striving to remain unattached to our previous concepts of food and cooking without limits) - better relationships (by inviting people to talk to us about food and partake in meals with us, and fully experiencing food from production to consumption) |
