| Favorite Books | how about authors: Graham Greene. Chekov. James Joyce, who wrote my favorite book of all time, "A Portrait of the Artist As A Young Man" Franz Kafka. Steinbeck, East of Eden and The Grapes of Wrath are in my top ten. Nabokov is brilliant The treasure of the Sierra Madre is brilliant manuscript. The Jungle by Upton Sinclair is amazing! I enjoy Freud's essays and Ginsberg's poems. On the Road by Jack Kerouac One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest The Electric-Kool Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe the last three mentioned are some of the greatest books ever written, which is why the beat generation is one of many time periods I really wish i could have lived in.
