Introduction	The Women's Independence Network is a brand new Ottawa organization dedicated to bringing Ottawa feminists into the spotlight on Women's Issues. Our mission is to give a voice to women and their allies in the National Capital Region (NCR), to express and address gender inequality and social issues, and to right injustices in our community. Our vision is of an Ottawa community where all people are respected, treated equally, and empowered regardless of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, socioeconomic status and lifestyle.
Interests	Feminism, the glass ceiling, reproductive rights and autonomy, women's health, media perceptions of women.
