| Introduction | Pauletta Brooks is a graduate of Hampshire College and The Fashion Institute of Technology and worked for many years in her own business designing jewelry and accessories. Ms. Brooks’ design work has been credited in major fashion magazines and journals including Vogue, Harper’s, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Details, The Daily News, and Ornament Magazine. Her crafts have been featured in Handcraft Magazine, Sundance, Plaid Industry books and at The Folk Art Museum of New York. Currently, she is working on various personal projects including the development of properties for children's television while working part-time with college students entering the design and fashion fields. She is a lover of horse back riding, tango and all forms of dance, reading, cooking and creating. She has a large collection of vintage children’s books and has a journal full of stories she’s spun for her own children growing up. |
