| Introduction | The Eagle's Nest 2/506 Blog is dedicated to the men of the 2d Battalion, 506 Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR) of the 101st Airborne Division of World War II who captured Adolf Hitler’s Eagles Nest retreat in the Bavarian Alps in 1945.
