| Introduction | We met five years ago on our Discipleship Training School (DTS) at Reef to Outback in Townsville, Australia. We were great friends on our DTS and it wasn’t long after that that God began to show us that He had more instore for us than ‘just friends’. We began dating while we were on staff with YWAM- Reef to Outback. During this time, God taught us so much about each other and what a life in missions is all about. We were married in June 2007 and continued serving in missions. We had the incredible privilege of reaching out to young Aussies with the message of Jesus and lead teams of young people all throughout Australia and Vanuatu. In 2009, we said goodbye to our friends and life in Australia to pursue the dream God had given us of inner-city mission work. We moved to a neighborhood located on the south-side of San Francisco to reach out to the young people living there. |
