| Introduction | Upon relocating self to a new country (again),I find myself with a whole new set of challenges to tackle in this life adventure. Abbreviated list as follows in no particular order: 1. Avoid expected 'Shivonne has fallen off the face of the earth' status towards loved ones by maintaining impressive levels of correspondence and appropriate updates (hence return of the blog). 2. Acclimate self to new country, culture, and habitat without losing essence of the pure awesomeness that comprises my arguably enviable Texan roots. 3. Discover a career path I can approach with true passion and excitement. Also, obtain gainful employment so I can update my status with the bank from 'domestic duties'. 4. Reform from my primarily self inclusive*(read 'selfish') ways to become part of a living, ever challenging, evolving partnership. Also known as marital bliss. 5. Resist complacency. I want to live every day, sieze every adventure, and make every memory worth having. In short, my true desire is to take full ownership and pride in my life. |
