| Introduction | I am taking a Government course so that I can discover my political self. I have never really had an interest in politics; mostly because I have not had the time to sit down and really dig my fingers into the political fiber of this nation. So, I decided to buy some time at my local community college. I am classified as a liberal democrat. Take it or leave it. I am not even sure wether to take it or leave it, which is why I am taking this course, so that I may define myself beyond a 'liberal democrat'. I would like to know more about how our government works (and maybe gain some knowledge on how it doesn't) and be able to analyze issues and decide how I feel about these topics from a more educated standpoint. |
