| Introduction | My name is Mikey, I hail from the glorious lands to the South of this fair country. I love to cook (naturally) and am super into a long list of fairly nerdy activities: SCA, Dagorhir, Dungeons and Dragons, etc. Cooking however, is a daily enterprise in which I constantly strive to improve and explore the vast array of excellent cuisine this universe has to offer. Now when I say that I DON'T mean wild forays into the cutting edge gastronomic trends, but rather trying to hone my skills at what so many wisened grandmothers around this planet do so effortlessly day to day. I put this blog together to get my friends off my back about it, and because I realized that it's only a few more minutes time to do it compared to posting this crap on Facebook.
