Introduction	I commute to work at a University, a little over 5 miles from home on urban/residential streets. I enjoy learning about great apparel and gear for riding as well as that can be used also upon arrival for work, and for other activities, including running, golfing, hiking, and, of course, just hanging around. New products that enhance the enjoyment of these activities and solve problems are fascinating to discover and fun to use. There is something especially intriguing about discovering new technologies and solutions, but sometimes it is learning of the tried and proven that surprises me and makes me aware of how much more there is to learn. My goal here is to share some of the pleasure of the hunt and use of these products with anyone else interested in such things. Naturally, I hope it will be of some use to those who wish to solve problems related to bicycling and related activities, including but not limited to commuting to work and for running errands as well as for enjoyment and exercise.
