Introduction	Learned to knit from the mother of a high school girl friend -- no idea where either of them are now. The mother owned a yarn shop and allowed us to buy a skein at a time, using our baby-sitting money, though she would set aside the entire inventory for our project, making sure all skeins were the same dye lot. I knit some fabulous sweaters before I was even 25, a bit of Fair Isle, a fisherman knit, cables, bobbles, raglans, cardigans, sweaters for me and sweaters for boyfriends (who always conveniently disappeared right after the final neckband ribbing was completed!)
Interests	Being a Nana, cooking, reading, Crossfit
Favorite movies	Casablanca, The English Patient, Toy Story 3
Favorite music	Dvorak, Mozart (of course), Beatles, Eagles (so now you can guess my age)
Favorite books	Pillars of the Earth, anything by Louise Penny or Ann Patchett or Elizabeth George, Rebecca (it's a great story; can't help it if it's also my name)
