| Introduction | I'm a science communicator at Fermilab near Chicago, but have been based at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland since 2006. I was trained in nuclear physics, dabbled in medical physics, and now spend my days immersed in a higher-energy world. At CERN, I communicate the contributions from more than 1,700 people from U.S. universities and national laboratories to the Large Hadron Collider project.
