| Introduction | I'm a health science librarian working at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi since 08.10.1994. My designation is Librarian Selection Grade. I graduated in Microbiology from Gargi College, DU, and studied B.LibSc, MLISc from Deptt.of Library and Information Science, Delhi University. Later, I got a PG in Computer Sciences and an M.Phil in Lib.& Inf Sc. from Kurukshetra University, Haryana and Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu respectively. I am a UGC-NET-qualified librarian who received a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in 2012. Attained PhD from IGNOU, New Delhi, (2018) my thesis was based on health information literacy. I took to this profession because it hurts me when I see people ailing because of information access problems. Therefore, I wish to provide, and spread useful information to them. I love to interact with everyone. I am fond of social networking sites. My current research interests include- promoting health information literacy, providing web-based library services and conducting literature searches.
