| Introduction | Gay, Mormon, and raised in the Midwest; how fun is that? It opens the doors to a high degree of happenstancity. It took me to Taiwan for 9 months of Mission, home again to come out, on to bounce between universities till I ended up with a B.A. part of a M.A. and knee deep in a crazy journey and adventure that I think I knew all along I'd end up taking. I'm not quite sure where I fit in, though I'd like to. Too gay to be Mormon, too Mormon to be that gay or even that normal, whatever normal is. I'd like to find the secret colony of gay Mormons that in utopian peace. Or maybe I'd like to found it. Otherwise. I’m busy; busy creating, building, learning, and finding the way home. Very Daoist, that. Thankfully, my bro. is a wildly talented artist. His wife is a fabulous account rep. Folks are great, too. I’ve got a great family; they just want me to be happy. I’m still working on making that happen. Degrees of Happenstancity: I collect Pez dispensers. Love: poetry, the color grey, good shoes, good clothing, good food, good company. Good company most of all. I miss the hell out of my beautiful grey Volvo. I make the most seriously out of this world chocolate chip cookies ever. |
