Introduction	During college I met the man with whom I planned to spend the rest of my life. I thought he was as committed to going the distance as I was, but five good years and one remarkable daughter later, he decided that he liked someone else more than he loved me. May 19, 2008, my daughter and I moved out and began a new chapter. Recently, a friend suggested that I start a blog. The next day, I had a dream that detailed the words of my first post. I woke, went to the computer and started typing. It was strange how easily the words filled the page – as if the words were of something greater than me. I am not claiming “God wrote my blog.” However, I do believe God has his hand in this blog. I pray that this blog will accomplish three things. First, I hope to receive personal restoration from documenting my thoughts. Second, I hope to provide others dealing with divorce an outlet in which to express their thoughts. And finally, but most importantly, I hope to show others the healing power of my Savior. Psalm 147:3 says “God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” I pray that God will use this blog to heal the hurting and wage war against the enemy.
