| Introduction | Born in an amazing Godly family, with parents who lived what they believed, I was first introduced to Jesus and accepted Him at the ripe age of 3. I was very young, but I knew that I wanted Jesus to forgive me for the things I had done wrong, and I wanted Jesus to be my best friend. At the age of 5, I went on my 1st mission trip to Mexico with my parents who where youth pastors. The following year, I went again and was even involved in a drama. Missions became my passion. My heros where the missionaries to the jungles of Africa and South America. After going on many mission trips, I moved into Kansas City right out of college, as an Urban Missionary. I just knew that I would be doing full-time ministry for the rest of my life. A little over a year later, God sent me home. I was having a hard time of allowing God to love me. I was so passionate about serving God that I had let my identity be found in that, rather than in knowing that I was a daughter of the King! This has been a whole new stage in life for me, and I have been encouraged to share as God is teaching me new things. |
