| Introduction | I am a mom to two beautiful individuals (one in college and one in high school) and one former street dog. My husband and I married just out of college many years ago. He retired from the US Department of State (DOS) in 2019 after 21+ years. DOS family life did not lend itself well to spouse career aspirations. Now that we are retired to the US, I was fortunate to find a job that melds my policy background and past and recent education. Best of all, it is a job that seeks to make a difference for the better, and I absolutely LOVE that! Most of this blog is about our State Department family life. But, now that I've just come back to it, not sure where I will take it. So, wherever that might be, I hope you will join me on this new adventure. |
