Introduction	I'm Aish Raman. I'm a postdoc at the Pacific Northwest National Lab. Disclaimer : Everything I write here, represents only my personal opinion and not of PNNL. I have a thing for satellites :) I wake up every day thinking about how can we optimize future satellite missions for monitoring processes on Earth and other planets. I love kickboxing and being a badass at weight training. I'm a fitness freak and love talking about the Earth system as a whole. I own a kitten and her name is Aurora.
Interests	Science: Remote Sensing, Numerical modeling, planetary science. anything that is crazy and challenging :) Other interests : Carnatic music, Bharathanatyam, blogging
Favorite Movies	DDLJ, Kuch kuch hota hai, The proposal, The core, Source code. Any movie where Sharukhan unleashes his magic!
Favorite Music	Bollywood, used to be a Indian classical music girl, now it pops up in my playlist rarely, still holds a special place in my heart. Love Anirudh Ravichader's creations :) Pop is my fav. Can't stand Jazz or Opera. Sometimes, Eminem and sometimes, country. These are mostly my collections.
Favorite Books	Haven't read many. But, out of a few of my fav reads, I think best so far is Sheryl Sanberg's Lean in .
