What kind of tape is best for creating a sculpture?
I wouldn't suggest tape for any sculpture, but rather a liquid adhesive. Which adhesive of course depends on the material. I'm currently into the durable multi-purpose variety--something about epoxies I find exhilarating. It's just so trusty and loyal.
