Introduction	Alex Higgins was born when the numbers on the clock read 2:22pm. Rumor has it that means you're destined to have a lucky life. Sometimes she thinks that statement is true, other times...not so much. You can always find her carrying a worn old notebook with snippets of story as plot lines waiting to be written. Almost every night is an all-nighter for her (and it shows in the morning!) If you happen to open her door at say, two in the morning, you'll find her hunched over desk with bottles of diet coke within her reach. When not writing, you can find Alex catching up on those hours of sleep lost during the night, reblogging mercilessly on tumblr, reading, and watching some questionable movies and TV shows on Netflix. She lives in Maryland with her family, two dogs, and one questionable cat.
