Introduction | Born and brought up in middle class Delhi, educated in Delhi and US and traveled a bit in the world. I came of age in the Delhi (and India) of 1980s. Memories of endless wait for DTC buses to visit the Trade Fair, Operation Bluestar and Indira Gandhi's assassination and the "riots", Rajiv Gandhi's "hum dekhenge" ( we shall see) speeches and finally the Mandal Agitation keep visiting me. Frankly, I am still trying to understand my country, culture and countrymen and even myself. But life is quite interesting! I am currently based in Bombay and work in a bank in the area of fixed income portfolio management but this blog is about me as a person and not the professional. I am married to Dipti and we have two children, a daughter, Priya and son, Saumitra. |
