Introduction | I was born in the Philippines, raised on Guam, lived in the Bay Area (San Francisco, Daly City, & the east bay). Through my father’s influence in art & poetry, I imbue my works, both literary & visual, with the color and vibrant imagery of the tropics. My creative history starts at age 3 when my Aunt Flora noticed me drawing pictures of tricycles. In high school I took three years of art class. My first job out of high school was a visual merchandiser; I later went on to work in production art and print production. I trained as a traditional illustrator in the mid 80s and migrated to digital media from the early 90s to the present, operating my illustration and design studio from 1996 to today. My short fiction and poems appear in anthologies and collections published by CUP Poetry, Devil’s Party Press, the News-Gazette, and The Alchemist Review (UIS). In addition to revamping my artistic career, I focus much of my love and energy on my wife, children, pets, and experiences and activities that I enjoy. I hope you’ll be able to glean that enjoyment in my works and thanks again for visiting! https://walkingthroughthoughts.blogspot.com/p/privacy-policy.html |
