| Introduction | Hi! I'm Diane Jones. I live in the Great Smoky Mtns of Western NC. I decided to start a blog to talk about area happenings and mountain life. We moved here from the “rat race” of FL, like many others in the area, surrounded by people and concrete, cars and pollution. Here we live among trees, scenic vistas, ridge tops and waterways, chattering birds and squirrels with glimpses of deer, bear and bobcat. We live within the arms of Mother Nature.
