Introduction	I am a small town girl, now living in a large Metro area in Michigan, but in a more rural suburban area. I lived 35 years in North Central Oklahoma and moved to Southeast Michigan in 2008 with my husband. We have been married 10 years and have 3 furry children-2 cats and an Italian Greyhound. I am a happy aunt to a 16 month old girl who has stolen my heart!
Interests	I love being creative! I enjoy crafting, decorating, baking, gardening, (I'm not very good gardener but I like the outcome when it turns out well!) finding ways to save money including couponing and bargain hunting-that is why I started my blog, so I can help others with saving money and inspire creativity!
Favorite movies	I love period movies and old movies, those are two I am really into right now! Mom my was an avid reader and read Pride and Prejudice over and over, and when the 1996 A&E version came out and I watched it with her and my sister I was hooked!! I also really like Sense and Sensibility and many other Jane Austen ones. I also really like Jane Eyre with Timothy Dalton. I love movies from the 30's-60's too. My favorite movie from the 80's is Pretty in Pink, I remember seeing it at the movies.
Favorite music	I have a very eclectic taste in music, being a Oklahoma girl I do like country like Rodney Atkins, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson but I also like classical, Contemporary Christian-my favorite Christian artist will always be Susan Ashton and just found out she will be coming out with a new album! I also like folk style music and some popular music like Jason Mraz, Lenka, Colby Caillat, Christina Perri, etc. I grew up listening and watching musicals and my new favorite is Les Miserables. I still like a lot of 80's songs too.
