| Introduction | I attended the University of Shippensburg for my undergrad work in Elementary Education with a minor in History. After Shippensburg I taught second and first grade, and also ran the library in a private school in Maryland. I am no longer working in the classroom, but continue to apply many things I learned in my education as I prepare my three little ones to be avid readers. My angels are 4, 2, and 10 months and keep me quite busy. I am also keeping up to date with everything in education by attending Johns Hopkins University and studying to become a reading specialist. I am two thirds of the way done with the program and am attempting to finish my course work during the summer of 2013. |
