Introduction	I am a traveller. I love exploring the cultural and geographic landscapes of this earth, and sharing my experiences in words and photographs. It has already given me a full lifetime of memories and experiences. For this I am grateful. Though I wear many unofficial hats (like character builder, experience-seeker) officially I've maintained full-time employment (albeit with lots of 'leave without pay') as an engineer ever since I graduated from UBC in 2008 and moved to Perth. I'll continue to explore these antipodean surroundings until the ebbs and flows of life take me elsewhere.
Interests	rock climbing, photography, independent adventure travel, cycling, kitesurfing, slacklining, canoeing, surfing, experiencing all that life has to offer.
Favorite movies	Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Memento, The Matrix, The Usual Suspects, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, City of God, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Indiana Jones, Adaptation, Mulholland Drive, Wallace and Gromit, old kung-fu movies.
Favorite music	Bands: City and Colour, Tragically Hip, Jose Gonzalez, Radiohead, Joel Plaskett, and other Canadian indie rock
Favorite books	The Shadow of the Sun (Ryszard Kapuscinski), Jared Diamond, Confessions of an Economics Hitman (John Perkins), Malcolm Gladwell, Tim Harford, Jeffrey Sachs, Michael Pollan.

You've just inherited a manufacturing plant that specializes in plastics. What are you going to make?

PVC pipes for water testing (using temporary wells made of PVC pipe.) Incidentally my father already owns such a plant.
