Introduction	Dr. Martin (Marty) McDaniel is a part-time instructor in Religion. Marty began teaching in 2001 and teaches courses in New Testament and World Religions. Marty has a B.A. from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, a Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in Kentucky and a Ph.D. degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, majoring in New Testament and specializing in the Gospels. While Marty has spent much time studying Christianity, he has great interest in other religions, especially Native American religious beliefs and practices, and Hinduism, which he considers a fascinating religion because of its multiplicity of forms and practices.
