| Introduction | I am the fourth of five children of William H. Crawford, II,decendent of Samuel Crawford, and Nancy Hudson Barbee Crawford. I am married to Robert Andrew Marshburn from Rocky Mount, NC and we have two children, Robert Brian and Jennifer Lee Marshburn. Brian was recently married to Michelle Huang from Taiwan. For several years, I have researched several branches of my family tree including my father's family, Crawford and my mother's family, Barbee and I have found some interesting stories which I want to share with my children and extended family. The first one, the story of Samuel Crawford, makes the history of the American Revolution come alive. I am in the process of researching my husband's lineage, Elbert Maddox Marshburn.
