Introduction I've been faculty-in-residence at Broome St. since January 2007; prior to that I was in residence at Water St. (2004-06). My family and I have been at NYU and in NYC since 2001. I spent the first 17 years of my life in smalltown Arizona. I've spent the second half of my life on the east coast. I teach early American literature and NYC lit/cultures in the English department.
Interests all sorts of recorded noise (including most genres of music), yoga, vegetarian cooking (though I eat meat too), post-war american art, downtown history, running, new jersey geography trivia, biking w/ my daughters
