| Introduction | I'm a 55 year old woman, married for 33 years to a wonderful man, and mother to three amazing adults. I developed Churg Strauss syndrome at the age of 44 (main symptom is severe asthma). Through the ups and downs of dealing with this chronic illness I have discovered a few wonderful gifts. One of those gifts is running, which I started in 2009. I'm addicted and I love it! In 2010, I ran my first 10K, my first half-marathon, and completed my first marathon in 2011!
