| Introduction | I developed a love for photography a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed shooting with my Canon Powershot...and took a lot of great photos with it. Last year I upgraded to a Canon T1i & quickly realized how much I had to learn about my new camera & about photography in general. I took a couple of classes through our local college & learned a lot, but I realized that taking the occasional photo at a special event, while on vacation, or during the holidays just wasn't enough to help me develop my skills. So, I decided to take a photo a day for an entire year. This will give me lots of opportunities to practice composition, technique, & editing. It will also give me a photo journal of the year. I hope to capture not only the "big" events throughout the year but also the "everyday" events that might otherwise be forgotten. I love baking, knitting, walking, running, reading, doing all kinds of crafts, and being a wife & mom. I'm certain these loves will be the subjects of many of my photographs. |
