| Introduction | In 1998 on a trip to Mexico, my husband signed us up for three weeks of Spanish classes. I said, "I'd really rather learn to paint." Honestly, I didn't know that until I heard myself say it. So my dear husband took me next door to the public art school. I started painting that day and I've never stopped. Since then we've bought a tiny second home in Mexico and besides painting, I've become fanatical about eating vegetables and have written about that in a blog, TheVeggiePost. I've also written a novel in the voice of a sixteen year old girl in the 1970s and several short stories, all still awaiting publication. |
