Introduction	I love living up to stereotypical Southernisms, reading magazines while taking bubble baths, trying new recipes, traveling, finding unexpected bargains, sweet-talking my hubby into DIY projects, learning about other cultures, and finding minor excuses for parties and gatherings. For the last decade, I have had a slight obsession with turquoise/aqua/ocean blues and greens and bold color combos. I love the Lord, Pinterest, Lifetime movies, Mexican food, shopping, the occasional homemade chocolate chip cookie (more crispy than soft), and changing out my home decor often. I adore being a wife and baby and doggie mommy. I stay busy with teaching middle school Spanish and ESL, graduate school, and Junior League. A former newspaper journalist, I still have a love for writing and toying with new words. Oh, and an incredible knack for snooping. My life goal is to become a published novelist. Always with a camera or iPhone in hand, I have transitioned from an annoying paparazzi to an even-more-detestable mamarazzi.
