| Introduction | I am a very busy mom trying to do all I can to turn out good kids without causing too many dysfunctional issues. I was anorexic and bulimic and I don't want my girls to go through what I went through. I believe I was the wrong child for the parents who were "assigned" to me. I love my parents, but I took too much to heart their demanding and harsh parenting. I have a hard time today with taking criticism well because I feel badly when I don't do things right or the way others want me to do them. I have 3 special needs children. One who has Williams Syndrome which means he has many vascular problems and he is mentally retarded (yes, I said that word because that's what he is! Slow to learn! But he is NOT stupid!) I have another child,a daughter, who has high functioning autism, and my third has ADHD! |
