About me

Location American Fork, Utah, United States
Introduction I am originally from Kansas and lived there until I turned 18. I always had the desire to serve a full-time church mission, but after some sincere praying I was directed to join the Navy. I served this country for a total of 9 years and am a veteran of the first Gulf War. I grew up learning to love photography from my father who was a professional photographer; however, it was the Navy where I was able to follow after my true passion; film and video production. It was during my time in the military that I met my wife where we today have five children. I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Television, Radio and Film. After Syracuse I ventured into an opportunity of a lifetime. I had the privilege to work as a videographer for the White House during the Clinton administration. My family and I then moved to Utah where I took a job at BYU, where I currently work. I work for BYU Broadcasting as the Studio Production Manager and as the Associate Manager of Academic and Educational Services. I really love my job because I get to create programming for BYU Television and teach and mentor students in the field of film and video production.
