| Introduction | I am a stay at home mom and artist living on a remote island off Nova Scotia. I like to work in a variety of media and on a wide variety of subjects. I am influenced by the sea, the rugged landscape around me, and the beauty of everyday objects. Art has been on the back burner for me for a few years now, while my children were very small. Now that they're getting bigger, I'm trying to put real effort into making art a priority again. I am challenging myself to make art every day, even if it's just a simple sketch.
