| Introduction | “The press is the best instrument for enlightening the mind of man, and improving him as a rational, moral and social being.” - Thomas Jefferson,1823 Despite the obvious importance of the press in regards to enlightenment, I come across multiple spelling and/or grammar errors daily in major publications. If those tasked with enlightening and informing the masses can't even spell or write a sentence correctly, what hope do we have as an educated society? |
