About me

Gender Male
Occupation Executive Minister
Location Morgantown, PA, United States
Introduction I am a native Philadelphian, and have a love for the poor and forgotten of my home town. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Lebanon Valley College, where I earned the David E. Long and Abram M. Long Memorial Ministerial scholarship for most promising religion major. My current responsibilities include providing hands-on executive management for all aspects of the Philadelphia Community Church. I also serve as the chief financial officer of the organization, and am responsible for the overall business life of the church and for fundraising. I currently live in Morgantown with my wife, Leslie. I have two teenage sons, David and Peter. Although I no longer live in the area, I regularly commute the sixty miles or so to the church. My background with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, the Boy Scouts of America, and Interfaith Housing Development Corporation (where I served as executive director), provide me a wide range of skills and experiences from which I draw my management and leadership styles. My personal mission statement characterizes my personality: “To help others experience a sense of Divine excellence and to inspire them by precept and example.”
