| Introduction | I am a busy mom of three (and an angel) with a passion for reading. Writing has always been on my "dream" list, but I have previously lacked the courage to let anyone read my work. Call me a perfectionist. But I have made a resolution this year to get out there, put something into the universe, and see what comes back. When I am not writing or editing, I am chasing after my kids and watching "The Grand Tour" with my husband. Sometimes I like to spontaneously burst into song (having studied vocal performance in college). Peppermint is my favorite ice cream flavor, I enjoy crochet, and one day I would love to see my daughter curled up in a chair reading something that I wrote. Ultimately, my biggest goal as a writer is to create things that parents feel comfortable letting their teens read (and that they enjoy reading too). Literature can have a profound influence on the developing minds of young adults, and I want the messages in my books to be uplifting and positive. |
