Introduction	Hi, my name is Donald I have been suffering from varying degrees of unipolar depression for 2 years now, with little or no improvement. Do I feel sorry for myself and wallow in self pity? NO! I just want to get better. I am writing this blog in the hope that I can gain some help from others as the medical profession have been largely ineffective up to this point (albeit with a very caring GP, Dr. S) and it seems like my family are very busy and absorbed with their own lives to notice the severity, or to intervene (with the exception of my younger sister) and I have no local friends (apart from one solitary caring individual (R), with his own problems and another caring friend abroad (G) both of whom help me ) but they are both distracted. Hence my reaching out for external additional help.
