| Introduction | Angela Francis writes Regency historical romances with intrepid heroines and the honorable heroes who love them. Born to a family of aspiring writers, she only ever imagined herself an artist and did not start writing until later in life. At a young age, Angela and her family embarked on a journey to explore the world beyond their suburban Los Angeles home. Born out of this months-long odyssey, Angela acquired a deep love of history, art, architecture, and a strange fascination with old cemeteries and the macabre. After obtaining her Bachelor’s in Art History from San Francisco State University, Angela married the love of her life and raised two adorable sons in the Bay Area. Her first story, penned in her early thirties, was the result of her deep love of 18th and 19th century romantic literature and her desire to weave tales of her own, rich with history and intrigue. Trading their fast-paced life in California, Angela and her family now call Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way their home, where rugged landscapes and castle ruins provide inexhaustible inspiration. |
