| Introduction | By the time I was 12 years old I had moved five different times due to my father's job. I am finally coming to grips with the fact that the nomadic lifestyle is a part of who I am and something I am now trying to embrace. I think the title "Son of the Road" describes me well. In a land that is 99% Muslim in name I am unashamedly a follower of Jesus, the man from Nazareth, yet no mere man. My desire is to follow him faithfully, even among a people who deny his rightful lordship and kingship. Lastly, I work for an international company that specializes in cultural tourism. We provide leadership training, cross-cultural learning opportunities, and organize volun-tourism service projects to prepare organizations for work in the global economy. My hope is that this blog will encourage fruitful dialogue and be a cause for joy and laughter along the way. LW |
