| Introduction | Penny Smith, a free-lance writer and speaker, considers herself a privileged vessel of the Lord who has been "forgiven much." Penny met the Lord at the age of 24; but her life was already devastated by divorce and disrepair. In spite of her misgivings, the Lord thrust Penny into His vineyard. Since then, she has completed seminary training and has been engaged in a preaching-teaching ministry both at home and abroad. Her writings have been published extensively in Christian periodicals. She has authored Gateways To Growth and Maturity through the life of Esther. |

| Favorite music | Praise and worship music is tops with me. I played guitar a bit, and now "play" at playing the piano. |
| Favorite books | For light reading, I enjoy Jan Karon's Mitford series. The heavy reading would be along the line of Emil Brunner, T. Austin Sparks, and Campbell Morgan -- the kind of stuff that rattles my brains, yet slakes my thirst for more of God. |
