Introduction	I have been in love with Big band Music ever since I watched all the old black and white movies on Million Dollar Movie every weekend long ago. It has been the sound track of my life. Knitting is my other life and I can think of nothing better to do that watch an old movie while I knit.
Interests	My family first, Knitting, Collecting tea cups and teapots, anything British, Big band music, old movies from the 1930's and 1940's, Vintage knitting patterns, blogging, teaching children to knit, reading books, Vermont, winter snow sports.

Favorite music	Well, I really enjoy the music of the 1930's & 40's....Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman.
Favorite books	Gone with the wind,Glass Castle,Dragonwyck,At Home in Mitford, A Year in Provence, Summer's Lease,Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, The Women's Pavilion, At Home in Thrush Green, any Agatha Christie,Rebecca,Seventeenth Summer, Leave it to Beany, Something Foolish, Something Gay, to name a few!
